Each year we are reminded of all the organizations and how they are in need of our help.  The Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary Club evaluates the need and the impact that in receiving Orchid festival funds would have on that particular organization.  It is truly a taunting task to have to select which organization would benefit from our help the most for each organization has its own specialized emphasis in helping the world we live in to become a better place.  The beneficiaries are then selected, each to receive 30% of the proceeds.  The 2007 major beneficiaries are: The Boys and Girls Club of Yucca Valley and STARS, Service to American Rotarians.  You may check out their Web sites by clicking on their icons.

This year the minor beneficiaries are Joshua Tree Kids Club, Theater 29, Landers Elementary After School Program, the Morongo Basin Adult Literacy, and the Orchid Society Arizona
